Additionally, it is the best investment for us because we like owning assets that hold inherent value from its material existence and practical use. We focus primarily on multifamily properties, which offer QUALITY housing while delivering above-average returns on investment (ROI) for our investor partners and ourselves. This combination of stability and profitability makes real estate an IMPACTFUL investment.

Story
Meet Rhonda & Ron
We are Rhonda and Ron, partners in life since 1992 and partners in real estate since 2009. Together, we are passionate about building lasting relationships — both personally and professionally.
Rhonda has been a registered nurse for 35 years, including 24 years in NICU, where she developed strong skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and care under pressure — qualities that translate directly into her approach to real estate investing. Since 2022, she has worked with real estate educator Darren Voros, and today she is advancing her expertise through Groundbreaker, a land development course and coaching program.
Ron brings over 40 years of experience in sales and management in the heavy truck industry. His sharp eye for detail and passion for excellence are invaluable to R2D3 Investments as we analyze opportunities and execute projects.
Our real estate investing journey began in 2009 with our first rental property. Over the years, we’ve expanded into a variety of strategies including short-term rentals, student rentals, buy and hold projects, land development, and private lending. We invest in and around the Edmonton area as well as Kelowna, B.C.
We call Sherwood Park home, where we’ve lived since 1999, raising our three sons — Dayton, Dylan, and Devin — along with our rescue pup, Macy.
Today, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter in real estate development, building on our foundation of experience, education, and trusted partnerships.
